While there are increasingly more general AI newsletters, articles, and podcasts, there are surprisingly few resources for specific niches. Thus, you can be the first AI thought leader in your niche or at your company. When you are the only option, it’s 10x easier to stand out.
#2. People are looking for AI thought leaders (which is rare)
95% of the time, people are NOT looking for new experts to follow. They have the people they already trust, and they have habits about how and when they read them. Said differently, people are happy with the status quo.
For example, think about finding a plumber, electrician, and handyman for your house. If you have a problem at your house and you don’t have an expert, you will desperately search for one. But, once you have one you like, you will stop searching for new ones.
AI will have such a large and wide impact that billions of people will search for experts to help them understand it. Thus, AI could be your big opportunity to break through the noise of the crowded internet.

For my entire career, I have chosen to write about and teach topics that I most want to learn. When you write about or teach a topic, you give yourself pressure to devote time and effort to deeply understanding it. I call this the Explanation Effect.
